Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Meets Jailed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, visited Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar jail and criticized the treatment Kejriwal is facing, comparing it to that of a terrorist. They mentioned being separated by a glass wall during the meeting and expressed Kejriwal's request for campaigning for INDIA bloc candidates across the country.

The Aam Aadmi Party announced that the Delhi government, led by Kejriwal, would start functioning from jail according to a proper format. They stated that Kejriwal plans to meet two ministers in jail starting from next week to review their works and issue necessary guidelines.

The visit to Tihar jail revealed emotional moments, with Pathak mentioning Mann getting emotional upon seeing Kejriwal. Kejriwal's concern for the people of Delhi, even from inside jail, was highlighted as he enquired about subsidies, power cuts, availability of free medicines, and other welfare schemes. The meeting, taking place behind a glass wall, emphasized Kejriwal's readiness for the political struggle and his dedication to the welfare of the people.
