Compensation Details of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Leadership Revealed in Annual Report

In the annual report filed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), it was revealed that the current CEO and Managing Director, K Krithivasan, had a total compensation package of Rs 25.2 crore for the financial year 2023-24. This figure, although substantial, was slightly lower than the Rs 29.16 crore earned by the former CEO, Rajesh Gopinathan, in the previous fiscal year. Krishivasan, who took over the leadership on June 1, 2023, for a five-year term, played a significant role in the company's operations throughout the fiscal year.

Prior to becoming CEO & MD of TCS, Krithivasan had served as the Global Head of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) from April 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023. In the same period, N G Subramaniam, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Director (ED) of TCS, received a total compensation of Rs 26.1 crore in FY24. Subramaniam, who is set to retire from TCS this month, was praised by Krithivasan in a letter to employees for his extensive dedication and contributions to the company during his four-decade tenure.

Krithivasan's acknowledgment of Subramaniam's long-standing commitment and valuable service portrayed a sense of gratitude and respect towards the retiring COO and ED. In his letter, Krithivasan highlighted Subramaniam's mentorship and the significant impact he had on the company and its employees, noting the many who had benefitted from Subramaniam's leadership and guidance over the years.
