On Saturday evening, a shocking incident unfolded at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as he was hit by a bullet in the upper part of his right ear during a shooting. The Secret Service confirmed casualties, with the gunman and at least one audience member dead, and two other attendees critically injured. Trump was quickly escorted off the stage after being wounded.

Following the event, several prominent technology leaders expressed their shock and condemnation of the violence. Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted his well wishes for Trump's swift recovery and vehemently condemned political violence, urging unity against it.
