The outgoing Premier Kiril Petkov and the Parliamentary Group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party BSP Kiril Petkov denied the accusations that he made a one-man decision regarding the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Bulgaria, saying that the only mistake he may have made was how the events were presented. Kiril Petkov said after the meeting with representatives of the BSP, the dialogue with the socialists continues.
We haven't changed our position after this conversation. When We Continue the Change proposes a new prime minister the leader of BSP and outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Kornelia Ninova, we will negotiate the formation of a new cabinet. The Bulgarian Socialist Party stopped negotiating with We Continue the Change for the formation of a new cabinet because of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov's decision to expel 70 Russian diplomats.
