Mega Millions jackpot grows after no grand-prize winner

The Mega Millions jackpot will grow after Tuesday night's lottery drawing, which did not have a grand-prize winner. The jackpot was estimated to be $333 million, with a cash value of $185.6 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers were 7, 12, 21, 43, 55, with a gold Mega Ball of 11. There were no players who became instant millionaires after the lottery drawing. If a player could hit the match 5, it would have resulted in a $1 million payout. If a player hit the 2 X Megaplier on the match 5, they would have won a $2 million prize.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $360 million, with a cash option of $199.3 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday at 11 p.m. There were plenty of other small prizes, even though there were no instant millionaires. Twenty-five players hit the match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each.

Only six players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball with a 2 X Megaplier purchase and won $20,000 apiece.

The Mega Millions wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000. There were 753,028 winning tickets that resulted in the latest drawing.

The jackpot hasn't been won since April 15, when a player from Tennessee won $20 million. There have been over 10.4 million winning tickets at all prize levels.

A total of four Mega Million jackpots have been won this year, including the Tennessee ticket. On January 28, a player from California won $426 million, followed by a New York ticketholder who won $128 million on March 8, and a Minnesota player who won $110 million in the April 12 drawing.

Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
