China's economy, the world's second largest after America's, has been grappling since the communist regime ended its stringent zero-COVID policy.
The economic success was largely down to its size and the speed of its abundant inexpensive labor to produce, said Andrew Hale, senior policy analyst in trade policy at The Heritage Foundation.
St Onge, a research fellow at Heritage's Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies, asked why Americans should care about China's economy.
St Onge, 61, said he was in talks with the Daily Signal about a spokesman for the State Department.
''S not regular Americans' problem beyond the impact on share prices of those China-exposed businesses,'' St Onge said.
EJ Antoni, a research associate in regional economics at The Heritage Foundation, offered his own opinion on why Americans should care about China's struggling economy.
''s communist government has been prioritizing the Biden administration in its drastic interventions in the national economy, fueled by unprecedented levels of government spending,'' Antoni said in an email to The Daily Signal.
According to Antoni, the Chinese Communist Party is a group known as the Chinese Communist Party.
The Commerce Secretary, Gina Raimondo, is meeting U.S. business leaders and senior Chinese officials in China this week. The trip follows previous ones by Secretary of State Janet Yellen, climate czar John Kerry, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Raimondo's visit to China, which ends on Wednesday, is sadly another distraction from the fact that President Joe Biden seems beholden to the Chinese Communist Party, Antoni said.
sdenying to investigate the origins of COVID, allowing for the theft of American intellectual property or surrendering the manufacturing sector, Mr. Biden seems intent on putting the interests of the CCP before his own constituents, Antoni said.
