Amul to Launch Fresh Milk in the United States Market

Amul, a prominent dairy cooperative based in India under the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), is set to make its debut in the US market by offering its line of fresh milk products through a collaboration with the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA). The strategic partnership between Amul and MMPA was officially announced during the annual meeting, signifying a significant step for Amul's international presence. The move to launch fresh milk in the US market represents a milestone for Amul, as it marks the first time their renowned milk products will be made available outside of India, particularly targeting regions with a substantial Indian diaspora like the East Coast and Midwest.

The introduction of Amul's fresh milk range in the US will include packaging options of one-gallon and half-a-gallon packs branded under Amul, featuring different milk fat percentages to cater to diverse consumer preferences. The product lineup will encompass offerings such as Amul Gold with 6% milk fat, Amul Shakti boasting 4.5% milk fat, Amul Taaza containing 3% milk fat, and Amul Slim comprising 2% milk fat. This expansion into the US market not only represents a significant achievement for Amul but also demonstrates the brand's commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality dairy products among consumers globally.
